Synopsis
Adaptation of American novel set in the Roaring Twenties where a mysterious millionaire tries to win back the love of his life Jay Gatsby lives on Long Island and throws lavish parties that are the talk of the town. Shy and observant Nick moves into the small neighbouring property and begins a tentative friendship with the man. He learns that Jay is desperately in love with his cousin, Daisy, who’s married to Tom. When Jay and Daisy rekindle their relationship, Tom’s bullish jealousy and powerful, upperclass upbringing struggle against Jay Gatsby’s charm and kindness.
