Synopsis

Based on the popular video game, this adaptation stars Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey as an improbable duo traveling across a post-apocalyptic landscape ravaged by a parasitic Cordyceps fungus, which has turned most of humanity into savage, infected creatures. Joel, a grizzled survivor, takes on the mission of guiding Ellie, a young girl who appears to be immune to the infection, across the devastated American territories in search of a secure future. Their perilous journey brings them face-to-face with both hordes of the infected and various groups of human survivors, some of whom are dangerous and others who offer fleeting moments of connection.
