Synopsis
This mockumentary comedy, written, directed by, and starring Christopher Guest, follows the eccentric participants of the Mayflower Dog Show in Philadelphia. Featured contestants include Gerry and Cookie Fleck with their Norwich terrier Winkey (where Cookie steals the spotlight), Meg and Hamilton Swan with their pampered Weimaraner Beatrice, Harlan Pepper and his Southern bloodhound Hubert, two-time champion Sherri Ann with her poodle Butch, and Scott Donlan and Stefan Vanderhoof presenting the favored Shih Tzu, Miss Agnes.
