Synopsis

Guillermo del Toro reimagines Carlo Collodi's classic tale in 1930s fascist Italy. Following a personal tragedy, woodcarver Geppetto magically brings his newly created marionette, Pinocchio, to life. This mischievous and disobedient puppet yearns for independence from his wooden form and strings. Aided by his guide, the cricket Jimmy Cricket, Pinocchio embarks on a perilous adventure that challenges his courage, integrity, and altruism as he pursues his ultimate goal of transforming into a genuine human boy.
